Aromatic Spicy Beef Curry Recipe

2 lb stewing beef (1 inch cubed)
4-5 cloves of garlic (chopped)
1 large onion (chopped)
½ tsp turmeric
½ thumb of ginger (minced or grated)
½ stick of cinnamon
1 tomato (chopped)
1 tsp cumin
1 tbsp. Garam Masala
2 tbsp. Olive Oil
1 tsp Kashmiri Mirch Powder of Red Chili Powder
1-2 green chilies
½ tsp ground black pepper.
1 tsp salt or to taste
Rosemary for garnish
2 cups water
Start by heating up the olive oil in a sauce pan on medium heat. Then add in the cumin, garlic & onions and cook until the onions begin to caramelize. Usually 1-2 minutes.
Next add in the tomatoes, turmeric, garam masala cinnamon and ginger cook for roughly a minute.
Add the beef, water and remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
Lower the heat to a simmer then cover and cook for 15-20 minutes, Mix occasionally to make sure it doesn’t burn.
The curry will be done once the beef is not pink on the inside. You can check by slicing a piece.
Then top with coriander and serve with rotis, chapattis or naan.
