A quick and easy take on pasta that will have everyone digging in.
Masala pasta provides an alternative flavour to a common dish. When you’re low on time, but don’t want something bland or unhealthy. Our Indian style pasta will be a hit with anyone, be that your kids or your boss.
This would be our first Indian style pasta dish, and while I do enjoy traditional pasta… sometimes we crave a touch more heat. This vegetarian pasta dish has been a work in progress for the past couple years, tweaking spices and vegetables. If you really want you can add nearly any type of vegetable to this dish, however we like to keep it simple.
I’ll keep this short as possible, this is one of our go-to dishes during the weekday. Usually takes us around 25-30 minutes to prep and plate and makes four servings, perfect for family meals. This way you can also take the leftovers for lunch the next day if you don’t finish, which is a win, especially when you are trying to rush out the door in the morning.
Like most classic pasta dishes, this goes well with a wide variety of sides; salads, soups, etc. are all good combinations with this flavourful meal. If you simply want a fast and easy to make meal, masala pasta works great by itself without any sides.
Typically, we would serve this with some delicious homemade garlic bread (we make the garlic butter, not the bread) and some sparkling water.
