  • 1 fresh ripe mango (chopped) or ½ cup frozen mango pieces or ½ cup mango pulp
  • ½ cup plain yogurt (Dahi)
  • 1 cup milk
  • sugar to taste
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Remove the skin from the mango and chop it into small pieces. Now place the chopped mango slices into the blender.

Mix in all other ingredients and blend well it should only take 2-4 minutes.

When the mango pulp blends completely into the mixture do a taste test by pouring a little bit of the mixture into a cup.

Add desired amount of sugar so the drinks sweetness is at the desired level, and mix well in blender for roughly a minute. Repeat this process as needed.

That’s it now just pour the mixture into any cocktail glass and drink up.

5 Quick tips to take your Mango Lassi to the next level.

So you want to try something a bit different, eh? Well here are 5 quick things you can try to switch up the taste of your mango lassi.

  1. Add ½ tsp ground cardamom – this makes for a slightly more cooling experience.
  2. Use vanilla flavoured yogurt instead of dahi – this will take the slightly tart taste away and provide a smooth taste. transforming it more into a mango yogurt smoothie than a lassi.
  3. Use unsweetened almond milk instead of regular milk. Not only does this make it a touch healthier you get a relaxing drink that’s jam-packed with vitamins.
  4. A dash or two of cinnamon – for those that want a bit more heat, works nice at the colder times of the year. Just be careful it is easy to overpower everything if you add a little too much.
  5. Add a scoop of your favourite protein shake. Making it a great post-workout drink. I do this from time to time to mix it up a bit.
